How it all started..

Les began decorating in and around Cheltenham after leaving school in 1997, working as a part-time trainee while studying Art & Design for three years. In 2000, he became a full-time decorator, recognising it as the ideal career in which to develop his keen eye for detail. His experience includes working for commercial decorating companies across the country, although his main focus has been on local domestic clients. His portfolio covers interior and exterior projects, ranging from new builds to listed properties.

In 2012, Les established his own business, LPC Painting Ltd, specialising in domestic decorating. Through his commitment to quality and customer care, he has built a strong reputation and a steady flow of work, largely through recommendations. He personally selects his team of skilled decorators, who regularly update their knowledge and techniques to maintain high standards. LPC Painting Ltd is a proud member of the Dulux Select Decorators scheme. Les was a finalist in the national ‘On The Tools’ Painter and Decorator of the Year awards in 2019, has been a finalist in the national ‘Screwfix’ tradesperson of the year awards and went on to win the prestigious ‘Dulux’ Decorator of the Year award in 2020.
